Christmas Card 2012

This years Christmas cards.  After buying a bunch of stamps for Christmas cards, I finally ended up using not one single one, but instead some old background stamps.

The card is embossed with Tim Holtz Poinsettia and then heat embossed the sentiment.IMG_0480

The Poinsettia on the front is also a Tim Holtz (Sizzix) die cut that was stamped with several different background stamps, in this case some french words.  IMG_0483

I added dimension with some distress ink – again Tim Holtz.  I really didn’t realize I used so many of his products!  IMG_0486

I sprayed with gold to match the sentiment.IMG_0485

Edged with Smooch – again in gold for this card, to match.  IMG_0489

Adhered some scraps to the inside.  This is some Webster Pages, which I inked the edges of.IMG_0487

Leaves are curled before attached with a brad.  Thank you Tim Holtz for the inspiration.  IMG_0476_2_2
