Ink Test

I decided to play with some of my inks.  This is a test page.  I used one of each brand except October Afternoon.  If you look closely you can see I’ve written what product it was on the color.

IMG_0692I then stamped all over it with some cute new stamps I found (actually an enabler that was shopping with me found them for me) on sale by Fiskars.  The red smears and squiggles are Tar Gel that was mixed with some paint.

A few rub ons were added for good measure – just because I could.

The letters are Thickers.  The clock faces peaking through in the background are from a stencil by The Crafters Workshop.  The inks were Dylusions (which ended up being my favorite), Color Wash, Perfect Pearls (all by Ranger) Tattered Angels and Lindys Stamp Gang.  For color – there just is no comparison, Dylusions and Color Wash are hands down the best.  Granted I don’t have the entire set of Lindys, so they may have a richer colored product that I don’t have.  Thanks for stopping by.
