Musical Thanks

I need to thank all the wonderful enablers out there in the world of arts and crafts!  I am lucky to have several of you in my life.

Today is a heartfelt “thank you” to my sister-in-law who contributed some breathtaking antique printed paper.  In fact it is so nice, I’m a bit scared to use most of it.  I made this card for her.  I used Mod-Podge to cover a card with some patterned paper and torn sheet music, and then layered a Spellbinders embossed piece of card stock highlighted with some Ranger’s distress ink.

The butterflies are from a packet of Tim Holtz, Grunge board shapes I’ve had forever.  I dry embossed them for texture, and then painted and stained them, and added some iridescent highlight.

This post has been brought to you by:  Ping, my forever-plotting-his-escape feline, and companion to Pong (my I’m-to-lazy-to-escape panther).
