Dark Halloween Layout

I have recently joined a fabulous scrapbook kit club Scraps of Darkness.  And although I don’t really scrapbook anymore outside of collecting all the products, I do participate in the challenges.  This layout was this months sketch challenge.  I started by using a Tattered Angels stencil and spraying the black paper with some lovely Heidi Swapp Pink spray ink.

I apologize for the glare on the photographs.  The ribbon, flowers and paper all came in this months kit.  All the rest is from my stash.  If you want to know what brand something is, just leave me a comment.

The cob web is cheesecloth.  The chandelier was stamped using white Distress Paint.

The spider is made of polymer clay.  You may recognize it, as it is an impression of the spider in the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Collection – Halloween – Adornments.  I wanted it be lightweight and less perfect so I made a mold of it.  I’m probably breaking some kind of rule by doing that – so I don’t recommend it.  Believe me, if they sold light weight creepy stuff, I would buy it!

The flowers were by Prima and were of bright colors and flat before I got ahold of them and sprayed them with Dylusions Black Marble ink and bunched them all together.

Thanks for stopping by!
