My First ATB

DSC_0006This is my very fist Artist Trading Block (ATB).  I am playing along with the Art With a Heart Challenge May Flowers.  I used my new Sizzix Block/Cubes, 3D die cut to create the base block out of chipboard.  After a good coat of gesso I added some pictures cut out of last years day planner, topped them with some word stamps and some stenciling.  The stencil paste was painted green and outlined.  Then I went a little crazy with my die cut collection.  DSC_0008I think I cut one of each type of die cut I have for flowers, leaves and flourishes.  I only used a fraction of what I cut.  The center of the flowers is Distress Stickles.  DSC_0007I then added some wonderful 3D flowers and berries from Petaloo and topped them with regular Stickles and gesso.  DSC_0009If you have any questions regarding what die cut I used, don’t hesitate to leave a question for me.  Thanks for stopping by!
