Christmas Color Card

DSC_0001This is a card I made for my Aunt for Christmas.  She was visiting recently and asked how I made a canvas out of joint compound, so I took the opportunity to demonstrate the technique and this was the result.DSC_0004I love the texture and colors.  I dropped acrylic ink onto the surface after wetting it with a spray bottle filled with water.DSC_0002Simon Monday Challenge Blog is looking for some Christmas cards, so I’ll enter it there for something a little less traditional.  Thanks for stopping by, and if you see my Aunt – don’t tell her!  It’s a surprise!
