Happy Birthday Liz

Here is a quick card that I made for my niece’s birthday.  DSC_0001It was super easy.  The card base is by Blue Fern Studio and the butterflies are all die cuts from Sizzix.  I’ve decided to play along with the gals over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog with this one in the Special Lady/Girly Challenge.  You can find all the supplies at Simon Says, and I have them linked below.DSC_0002The big butterfly was colored using Distress Sprays and Inks.DSC_0003The little butterflies were cut from some old patterned paper that I’ve had for years.  I topped it off with an old favorite that I’ve been neglecting for some time now and that is; Perfect Pearls.  DSC_0004

I wanted to be able to mail this with no special packaging, but yet I still wanted dimension, so I glued only the center of the butterflies down, and bent the wings so they looked like they just landed on the page.

Supplies used:

Large butterfly

Small butterflies

Perfect Pearls

Distress Spray Stain

Thanks for stopping by.
